I visited Malton for the food festival and had a lovely stay. Upon our early arrival, we were graciously shown to our room right away, which was a delightful surprise. During our stay, I enjoyed having easy access to the cozy bar area with a warm fire, making it an ideal setting for a chilly autumn afternoon. The cleanliness of the room and the availability of coffee and tea were a nice touch that enhanced my overall experience.

Superior king room with sofa, a comfortable bed, for example. Good food and hot drinks...

The room was shabby and too hot, what an absolute shock. I woudl ve been thrilled with a kettle, yet there was barely space for my belongings. To add insult to injury, I didn't even recieve a complimentary gesture for my discomfort. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't after such mistreatment.

The superior king room was super comfy with a big bed and nice towels! The staff were really friendly and helped us with everything we needed. It was a great location right in the market square, made getting around super easy. Loved having tea, coffee, and biscuits in the room too!
only downside was no parking available and could be a bit noisy at times.

proximity to bar, relaxed checkout process, late-night access
No car park available!!! Directions to nearest free parking absent!!! Arriving was confusing as there were no clear instructions for check-in!!! Steep stairs with very narrow steps could be hazardous for seniors!!!

The room was clean and well-decorated with comfortable furnishings. The steep stairs may pose challenges for those with mobility issues, and the lack of a kettle in the room was inconvenient. Internet connectivity was spotty, a letdown for staying connected.

Cozy stay near York!
Had a lovely 2-night stay with family! Finding the place was a bit tricky since the entrance was hidden, but once in, everything was chill. The rooms were super clean, and we loved having our own en suites! The bar/lounge area was nice for hanging out, though it could get a bit loud at night.
